Announcing Our $20.3M Series A Funding Round

Published February 22, 2022 by Benny Lakunishok

Since day one, Zero Networks has been focused on protecting enterprise networks from the threat of lateral movement and ransomware, by simplifying and addressing the challenges of access and trust at scale with automated microsegmentation.

We’ve already seen great success - we’ve been named Gartner Cool Vendor, received a resounding “yes” from all 3 judges at RSA Launch Pad, and amassed a sizable number of industry awards. We’re continually improving our patented MFA-based segmentation technology at the core of our Access Orchestrator, and have launched the free Trustmeter and our open source tool library. Most importantly, we have been helping keep our customers’ networks safe from attacks, at scale, while reducing security costs, proving time and time again that Zero Network stops 100% of simulated network attacks.

This is why I’m excited to announce Zero Networks’ $20M Series A funding round. You can check out the full announcement here.

We’re fortunate to have the support of a fantastic roster of investors: Venrock, F2 Venture Capital, and PICO Venture Partners. And we’re grateful for the ongoing partnership of world-class customers across professional services, retail, construction and manufacturing, and financial services.

With this funding, we plan to continue focusing on our core goals:

  • Increased investment in R&D
  • Expanding our product offering
  • Reaching a wider audience to help bring an end to today’s massive ransomware industry

This recent funding round is a testament to the hard work and passion of the Zero Networks team. I truly believe this is the best collection of cybersecurity experts and engineers and am thankful for that. However, our work has just begun. We are growing fast, and are constantly on the lookout for exceptional individuals to join our world-class team. You can see some of our open positions here. Even if you don’t see anything that’s a fit, feel free to get in touch – we’d love to hear from you.

Here’s to the next step in our adventure!
