Zero Networks capabilities mapping to address Department of Defense (DOD) Zero Trust Reference Architecture requirements

The Joint Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and National Security Agency (NSA) Zero Trust Engineering Teams published in February 2021 a Zero Trust Reference Architecture which describes how the DOD should apply Zero Trust throughout their environment.

In the wake of the recent cyberattacks that have compromised federal agencies through the exploitation of software, the Biden administration has also issued in May 2021 an executive order that, among other things, has mandated civilian agencies to create plans for the adoption of zero-trust architectures in order to improve the security posture of federal agencies and contractors.

This document aims at emphasizing areas in which Zero Networks can contribute to promote such architecture without the need to waste time and resources to re- architect existing infrastructure.
