LBC Express’ IT and Security Leaders Talk About Zero Networks
LBC Express is the largest logistics and remittance company in the Philippines, with a footprint spanning operations in 30 countries. Keeping every branch online is the organization's top priority; with a complex, global network to manage, LBC Express needed a solution that would integrate with their existing infrastructure and enable centralized visibility and control.
After being introduced to Zero Networks through ViewQwest, LBC Express found that Zero delivered the comprehensive visibility and control they needed while complementing their existing tech stack, effectively locking down lateral movement to protect uptime across the enterprise.
Alfie Deato, EVP for IT: When you see a good solution, you don't want to let it go. I'm Alfie Deato, I'm the executive vice president for IT for LBC Express. I manage the whole IT team. We operate in over 30 countries. We are the largest logistics and remittance company in the Philippines.
We want to keep all the branches online. That's obviously the number one priority. To manage a big, big extensive network such as that is very difficult to manage. So aside from keeping everything online, we wanted to manage it properly and with full visibility from the central office so that we can control everything across all our branches and across all entities for 10 networks really complemented the existing security portfolio that we had. Now they worked well with Palo Alto. They worked well with Microsoft servers, which obviously was a big part of our estate. So deploying it was very easy for us.

With Active Directory and Zero Networks, it was an easy install and then configuring our firewalls and all was a total easy solution for us. In fact, my head of network and infra did not really believe that it was so easy to install until he was able to experience it and it was true to their word. Now it takes less than 30 minutes to install and after that it's really nothing that you should need to do.

Ador Duaz, Head of Network & Infrastructure: Every network guy that you will ask, example, a micro segmentation, they will say, oh, that's really hard. Of course being a network guy, I know it's hard, but when they show to me, OK, it's only a 30 minutes, you're done. Everything is good and amazing.

Alfie Deato, EVP for IT: I like the philosophy of Zero Networks where they always say assume that you're already breached and after we've implemented it, even if they were inside, they could not move out of where they were if they were even inside. And because they're at the server level, not at the network layer where zero trust networks normally operate, we are more confident that our servers and obviously the network is more secure more than ever.

Ador Duaz, Head of Network & Infrastructure: You don't need to have a senior network engineer to understand things because by the visibility itself, it's too easy. The lateral movement, which is unbelievable before, you need a lot of lags that you need to correlate. You need lots of monitoring. With the serial network one interface, you can see a lot of things, the workstation, the traffic, the servers, what's going on even from inbound and outbound network, which is unbelievable.

Alfie Deato, EVP for IT: We were really planning to do this in 2027, not as early as 2026, but because of the ease of how we were able to do the POC and the results that came with it, I saw no reason to wait for 2027.
Ador Duaz, Head of Network & Infrastructure: The solution that is given to you is one of the best that I've seen. So with the mix of the product and the on growing features provided by the Zero network, what I can see only is 1 amazing.

Alfie Deato, EVP for IT: The solutions that ViewQwest gives are the best in class now they find and help us with the price point that we need. They're truly the best company we've worked with for the last seven years.
