Job Summary:

Zero Networks, a cutting-edge network security solutions provider, is at an exciting time in its history and is growing fast! We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our development team. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform through the design, development, and execution of automated tests. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and report issues, implement testing strategies, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software development processes.  

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
  • Identify, analyze, and report software defects and issues, clearly documenting steps to reproduce and providing accurate information to the development team.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining a robust and scalable test automation framework.
  • Continuously enhance and expand automated test coverage to improve software quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure that previously tested functionality performs as expected.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Cyber Security / Networking knowledge / experience - must.
  • Previous experience in building testing infrastructure.
  • Network and Security know-how.
  • Preferred experience with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, GCP, Grafana, virtualization, Active Directory, and Windows internals.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex systems to identify potential areas for testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
